OK ! Time for u to knw about me ! (compulsary)

Well !

Let me introduce myself to u. I am Vignesh, from Chennai.

Am an engineering student. I was forced into engineering when I wanted to do Visual Communication.

No one is to blame. My family is all of "intelligent" people who are more into studies. My cousins all are too good in studies, unlike me. And each one is into a good job. That naturally had set up a restriction in my side and my parents' side, when i was to choose my career.

And so... I finally ended up choosing Engineering (Information Technology- The place where all brainy bastards flock together without knowing what they are doing)

BUT .... My passion is always for films.

Somethin i learnt from my favorite film-maker

The very mindset of his when he starts writing a screenplay for his script...

"I am wondering right now if i should write something that is meaningful and is a statement. As a filmmaker, should I be careful about the kind of film I am setting out to make? Should I just go out there and enjoy myself and make an entertaining film that caters to the masses and to myself? Or make a film that is riddled with a message and behave responsible? Wondering, writing out a thought and looking at it actually, to see if i can answer this myself !"

That sure makes sense, doesn't it ?

Appetite for films :)

"Do you have a constant appetite for films?

I have. I am always hungry for film. A feature film takes my stress away. A film calms me down. I can feel the pangs when I know a good film is just around the corner. Nothing compares to a good film. Nothing compares to the build up to watching a film. The lights going off in a theatre before the first frame of the film comes alive. That's a moment I can never get tired of. Even if it's my own film and that's a moment that combines a whole lot of other emotions too. I am hungry for a good film now. Film. Thank you all you wonderful people who make films. "
